Vickie Apple submitted a story this week that is worth celebrating! Here is her story:
"A few weeks ago in Wed. night Bible Zone, Cayden - age 7 - asked Jesus to save him and forgive his sins and be the boss of his life! When he excitedly told me about it I was thrilled for him - and amazed at his child-like understanding & faith. But he's sooo young, I told myself! Does he really understand?? Then this last Sunday, when the little girl sitting in front of us went up to put her light bulb in the Name Wall representing her own salvation decision, I listened to Cayden explain to his little brother, Braddock - age 5 - what it all means: the white bulb, the blue bulb, how we all sin and that sin means we do bad things; that Jesus forgives all our bad things; that Jesus is now the boss of his life; that Jesus loves us so much he died for us so we can live in heaven with him. I sat quietly and just listened to this 7 year old simply and succinctly explain to his 5 year old brother all about salvation. I'm not questioning whether the 7 year old understands enough anymore. If anything - I question if my old "mature" faith is as pure and simple and tender as his!" God worked this week through Cayden! He was saved, he has become bold in his faith, and he is encouraging the young and the old by his story!
